"Plume"
View Pedigree

Plume will be bred to our own, Brand, pictured as a young dog, showing his correct, powerful gait. For more photos of Brand, check out his page.
This stellar pedigree can be seen on our PEDIGREE page

Our lovely Plume taken from ringside in Ohio this last summer, by my friend Rachel McCandless. She was 1st AOM at the AWC Midwest specialty under Sharon Sakson.
She was in the final cut the two other days she was shown, under Harriett Lee and Kalen Dumke as well!
Next year she will be bred, if all goes as planned.

"Plume" at the 2007 AWC National, where she was awarded #1 Select, Award Of Merit. We are so proud of our blue brindle girl. She is always supported by her many fans outside and inside the ring!

Our "most" admired whippet EVER is shown winning two days in Boston in December to finish her CH title at the same show she started out in 2005.
We are so grateful to the ringside fan club, fellow breeder/exhibitors and the judges, Dana Cline and Gail Boyd
We look forward to 2007!

Our gorgeous Plume won her show title under the following judges: Pauline Oliver, Julie Holm, Ian Dougherty, Dana Cline and Gail Boyd.
She needs a placement for her FCH title, to complete her campaigne of the VERSATILE whippet.
We have some BIG plans for her next year.

Plume had quite a couple of days at the AWC Eastern weekend.
She went BOW at the Supported show under Julie Holm and then won BEST OF BREED under Ian Doherty on Saturday at the AWC Eastern Specialty over top specials for 5pts.

Plume is shown with Barbara Wayne winning the 14-18 class at the AWC Futurity. Entry of 18.
She places 2nd in the 12-18 class under Bo Bengtson. Entry of 37.
Her half sister Mabel wins the 12-18 class!

Plume at her first field trial. She placed 3rd for 20pts.
She finished her FCH title in October, 2007

We thought you might like to see "both" sides of our beautiful "PLUME"
She is pictured with judge, Joetta Melton, winning BEST WHIPPET PUPPY at the Eastern Dog club event in December of 2005

"Plume" wins a 4pt major in Boston. This was the same show her sire, "Sav" won Best Of Breed whippet at last year!
She is 9 1/2 months old in the photo on the Left, and almost 5 months in the photo on the Right

Our lovely "Plume" is living up to her promise. We love what our dear friend, Magnus Hagstedt, SIGNUM whippets, SWEDEN, said:
She has dry elegance. This bitch is smooth as silk, with strong muscle underneath the velvet exterior. Her sweet nature is an important bonus, and something we will not compromise on, here at Merci Isle.

Plume pays tribute to Maxfield Parrish and his art of putting "girls on rocks!"

Plume is shown at 12wks of age
Beautiful outline on a whippet puppy

Our lovely, well named "Plume", is the ideal we strive for in our whippet bitches. She is the image of her well made mother, Swan.
Watch for updates as she grows up!
